Chichi: what is your obligations on take care of me, do I incur any cost impact on your wallet?
Human love cat – As cat staff, I take the responsibility of your ownership very seriously.
Obligations
You are wonderful companions but obligations are necessary. As a your staff, I make sure you have done
· Micro-chipped and de-sexed
· Keep good physical health
· Eat suitable food and plenty of water inside and outside
· Ensure you exercises behave in a natural way such tall cat tree inside, trees are available outdoor
· Ensure you are looked after and well cared for when I am away for period of time
Costs
You pay lots of attention on me, we play together that is great rewarding but cost is unavoidable.
In 2015, the Companion Animal Council estimated a yearly cost of caring a cat around SFr 670. Of course, that included food, vet care and other small sundry expenses. On top of the SFr 670, you purchased health insurance policy that is another SFr 200 plus per annual.
Law
The law requires that cat’s staff takes good care of cat. I must keep you healthy and free form distress and pain. If you sick or injured, I must get you appropriate medical care. I can’t stop you going out, you may get injured by accident. Vet visiting is not cheap, pet insurance is a great option shifting large cost away at small upfront payment.
If anyone mistreat or neglect a cat, they may be fined or prosecuted. The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) has inspectors whose role includes law enforcement. SPCA also runs animal centre and shelters, where takes care and rehome stray animals, a pet adoption service and education programmes.
Chichi, have you forgotten you was one of sheltered kitty when you were little? You should say BIG THANKS to SPCA.
Oh, yes I was in SPCA when I was little. How could I forget that?
Thanks All SPCA team. Please donate generous next time when you see SPCA street appeal on public areas.
Thanks in advance from Chichi.
